Sunday Club

Sunday Club runs every Sunday, except 2nd Sunday which is an All Age Service, during the 10.30 service. Age ranges of the groups are just a guide, speak to the leader to see which group is best for your child.

Scramblers have lots of fun together whilst learning about God. They meet in the St Michael’s church centre across the car park from the main church.


The crèche can be found upstairs in the main church and overlooks the sanctuary, so everything in the service can be seen and heard.

Bubbles & Babies

A Small group for babies and little ones from Birth to 3 years with their carers, to introduce them to learning about the love of Jesus through songs, stories, and simple craft.

Scramblers (4 - 7 yrs)

Scramblers have lots of fun together whilst learning about God. They meet in the St Michael’s church centre across the car park from the main church.

Climbers (7 – 11 yrs)

A chance to come out for a run around half way through the service! Learn about God through activities, games and group discussion.

S2AF (10- 16 yrs)

‘Spark 2 A Flame’ provides a place for the older youth to hang out, worship God and learn about Jesus. They meet in the St Michael’s centre across from the main church.

What happens at Messy Church?

3rd Monday each month.

Messy Church begins in St Michael’s Church, and finishes in the St Michael’s Church Hall for our meal.

Who can come?

Adults of any Age – preferably accompanied by children aged 4 – 11 years – younger brothers and sisters welcome.

Children – bring a responsible adult with you, who can stay with you for the whole time and join in the fun!

What Happens at Messy Church?

3.30 – 4.00pm: Chilling – Welcome, Drinks & Biscuits for the kids, Tea & Coffee for the Adults.

4.00 – 4.15pm: Chatting – An introduction to today’s story.

4.15 – 5.00pm: Creating – Crafts of all kinds for all ages.

5.00 – 5.15pm: Celebrating – Stories and Songs.

5.15 – 5.45pm: Chomping – Eating a delicious hot meal together.

5.45 – 6.00pm: Cheerio! – See you next time!

Youth Socials

Once a month our youth get together at the vicarage for fun, games and other activities. These happen Thursday from 7pm-9pm on the second Thursday of the month, and are for youth aged 9-16. Please contact Reverend Tom Loh if you are interested in joining us.

All our leaders are church members and DBS checked.

All Angels’ Toddlers

Our Aimis to provide a safe and happy environment for babies and young children to play & learn, while giving parents, carers, grandparents & childminders/nannies a time to relax, get to know other adults in a similar position to themselves and to share their joys and challenges.

What is the Routine?

  • When you arrive, please park your buggy in the area provided and sign in at the entrance table.
  • Sit where you like and join the activities.
  • Refreshments are served from 2pm – Please keep your hot drink out of the children’s reach, and encourage your child to sit down to eat and drink.
  • Please put your money in the container on the refreshments table.
  • We would appreciate help with stacking up chairs and clearing up at the end.
  • Do ask if you are unsure of anything.
  • Sign out when you leave.

We welcome any suggestions on how to improve our group – Please write your comments in our suggestions book on the entrance table.


Please fill in a registration form when you first join. This information is kept confidential and is only available to group leaders or in an emergency. The weekly sign-in register is to enable us to know who is present at any time for Fire Regulations. So please remember to sign in and out at every visit. Thank you.


  • The group is run by volunteers who help with the activities but are not her to look after the children
  • Please remember that your child and your possessions are your responsibility at all times, handbags contain exciting items not always suitable for little ones!
  • Please make sure that the main door is safely fastened when you come in or leave.
  • We encourage children to be kind to each other and would ask for your help in ensuring that your child does not upset another’s enjoyment.
  • We carry our regular Risk Assessment of the premises, and have public liability insurance, but if you do notice anything unsafe, please draw our attention to it.
  • Fire Procedures are on display in the hall.
  • Take particular care with hot drinks.
  • Please do not share your family’s illnesses with us.
  • No photographs will be taken without prior consent.

Above all, our important rule is - have fun!!

What do we do?

We provide a selection of toys, equipment and activities to extend the knowledge and experience of the children. They can create with play dough, paint and other crafts. Sometimes we have special activities and events, songs, stories, hired play equipment or parties.

Who we are?

We are part of the St Michael’s Church Family and welcome everyone to events and activities of the Church.

Teresa Bridgwater is our Church Children & Families worker and links with families in the Church and the local community. She would love to meet you!
